US$17,000 Diamond Pacifier

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (the 2-year-old biological daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) owns one of these customised diamond-encrusted pacifiers from Personalized Pacifiers. Bejewelled pacifiers have quickly become the hottest new baby item in Hollywood.

The original Diamond Pacifier features over 278 pave cut white diamonds. The diamonds total 3 carats, with a 14K European white gold base. While the pacifier is a replica and not meant for actual use, it makes an ultra posh keepsake.

The Diamond Pacifier can be customized to customer's individual tastes. Different colored stones are available, as well as engravings with baby's name, initials, and/or birth date.

While non-toxic glue is used to affix the rhinestones to the pacifier, the site cautions that tiny rhinestones pose a choking hazard to babies and small children.
