Largest White Diamond Sells at Auction
Written by HeBe

The largest and best diamond in the world recently sold at Sotheby's in Geneva. Weighing in at a whopping 84.37 carats, the diamond was graded by the GIA as D-colour with flawless clarity and excellent cut, polish and symmetry. This is just about as good as it gets to being perfect. The diamond was purchased by the founder of Guess? jeans for a mere 7,994,393 pounds. Georges Marciano had the privilege of naming the stone the 'Chloe' diamond.

David Bennett, Chairman of Jewellery Sothebys Europe explained in his 32 career that the diamond ranked amongst the best he had ever seen.
