Simple Steps for Healthy Living

We hope everybody had a great holiday and if your feeling like you've over indulged during the christmas break, here's ten steps for a healthy new you in 2008.

1. Stick to organic, unprocessed, locally produced foods whenever you can. It's better for you and the environment.

2. Make time for food when you feel calm and relaced. Eating in a hurry is bad for you, so take a break at meal times.

3. Never eat until you are full. Eat until you are satisfied. Take a walk afterwards if possible to help digestion.

4. Improve your digestion by avoiding, fizzy drinks, chilled food or iced drinks.

5. Cut the coffee and drink herbal teas for a full body cleanse.

6. Exercise regular but don't over do it. Just enough to make you sweat without overstraining.

7. Give yourself an energy boost by going to bed early and getting up early.

8. Regular massage can do wonders for body and mind, so book yourself some spa time or ask your partner. It will keep your skin supple, body relaxed and mind cool.

9. Try to switch off from the daily grind at least once everyday. Even if it's only for 10 minutes.
