Tips on Wearing Chunky Jewelry
Written by Jess Scott

Jewellery made a chunky statement onthe Fall Runways of 2008. In particular, the It accessory to have is a stand-out necklace, and/or bracelet (don’t combine the two at one go!).

These are trendy pieces, and not what you'd wear for a couple of days in a row. This is due to their bold, attention-grabbing style.

Tips on Wearing Chunky Necklaces

Givenchy: Strung with Crosses

Chunky necklaces look best on women with long, slender necks. To give the illusion of a longer neck, wear an open-collar, button-down shirt, or an open scoop neck.

Avoid wearing a chunky necklace with acompeting neckline (such as plunging or v-necklines). These necklaces look good with a clean, simple neckline.

Wearing Chunky Bangles

Thick metallic bangles add acontemporary touch of style and allure to an outfit. This kind of bangle can bring together a look that says you are urbane, daring, and individualistic.

Louis Vuitton: A subtle twist to keep things interesting

Plastic or synthetic bangles come inall sorts of colours, including neon orange, limes or sugar pinks. These are good with funky street or beach wear. They suggest that the wearer is youthful, vibrant, and fun.

Marni: Beautiful, colorful florals
